Drawing on the tablet ironically enough allows me to be a lot more loose.
Hey visitor, Thank you for dropping by. The intent of this blog is to hopefully get myself back in to what I've always loved doing, and that's drawing. I'll start off by posting a lot of my older works and we shall see where it goes from here :P. Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy your visit.

Unhealthy love for videogames
Late 2013 I went on a tear doing cartoons based on videogames for like two weeks then got bored. Kinda sorta want to get back in to it.
Art Inspired by Persona
I've always been intrigued by videogame fight menus. Probably stemming from my love of Streetfighter. I also love the art and style of Persona. I created this recently as art for a Facebook fan site. Clearly ripping off Persona.

YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK to win MANNEQUINS! SCROLL ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM.
I was going through my desktop at work and came across this drawing. It's an original character I did all in photoshop. I've never done a full drawing all digitally before so I wanted to see how I would fare. After completing it I came to the realization that it's probably not the most ideal way to work. At least not for me. After many years of doing cartoons for after effect. I find that it's almost instinct for me to put everything in layers. You see in after effects, everything has to be created in layers so that we can animate each and every bit independently. A concept that's not ideal at all when it comes to character design. I thought it would be fun to separate the line art from the colors just to give you an idea of what I mean. The end product is at least interesting....I guess.
